Bringing the Original Text to Life
The Complete Word Study: Old Testament presents the ultimate tool for the study of the Old Testament. Each word in the Hebrew Old Testament is represented by a number and a grammatical code printed above the English text. The number corresponds to the original Hebrew or Aramaic word listed in Strong’s Dictionary of the Hebrew Bible. The Lexical Aids provide more detailed definitions of key words (both of these dictionaries appear in the Study Helps section at the back). The grammatical codes identify the forms and parts of speech of the Hebrew and Aramaic words and are explained in the Grammatical Notations section of the Study Helps.
Also noted in the Study Helps is a Translational Reference Index. The index makes it possible to identify, by Strong’s number, all the Hebrew words that a particular English word represents in the King James Version of the Old Testament.

Bringing the Original Text to Life
The Complete Word Study New Testament is a revolutionary tool for the study of the New Testament. The result of over 46 years of research by the executive editor, Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, this New Testament will help you understand the Word of God more clearly.
Each word of the Greek New Testament is identified by a number from Strong’s Concordance, placed above the text of the King James Version of the Bible. Grammatical codes are also placed beside the Strong’s numbers. These grammatical codes, developed by the late Dr. George A. Hadjiantoniou (author of Learning the Basics of New Testament Greek) identify the parts of the speech of the Greek words. A guide in the back of the New Testament briefly describes the meaning of each part of speech.
No single book can replace the insight you might gain by a formal study of the Greek language. But many do not have the time to spend the next several years studying Greek. The Complete Word Study New Testament is the next best thing. Its easy-to-use format allows any reader to gain a deeper understanding of the New Testament.
Additional features include:
- An Introduction to Each Book
- Detailed Exegetical Notes
- Grammatical Explanations
- A Greek Concordance Arranged by Strong’s Numbers
- A Translational Reference Index (an English word to Strong’s number index)
- Strong’s Greek Dictionary of the New Testament

For A Deeper Understanding of the Word
The Complete Word Study Dictionary: New Testament is a wonderful tool for anyone interested in studying the words of the New Testament. This monumental work is the result of 46 years of research by the editor, Dr. Spiros Zodhiates.
The dictionary offers definitions and explanations for every word used in the Greek New Testament. Each entry is identified by a number from Strong’s Greek Dictionary, so that readers can make great use of the information that is given about each word, even if they have no working knowledge of the Greek language.
This dictionary is a companion volume to The Complete Word Study New Testament, which identifies the words of the Greek text of the New Testament by placement of Strong’s numbers and grammatical codes over the English text.
While no book can replace the insight that can be gained by a formal study of the Greek language, how many people will ever study Greek, and how many who have studied it in the past have forgotten some of what they learned? As you read the entries in this dictionary, the idiom and nuance of the original Greek text will open up before you, and you will arrive at a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
